Oranda fry are 16 days old now however over the last 3 days I lost 9 of them!

The remaining fry look healthy BUT I notice their tail fin has almost disappeared! I cannot tell which are double tail any longer , is it normal at this age?..... I ve read it could be either fin nipping or fin rot, any suggestions?

thanks for sharing!!! very nice article!!! good to have such reference photos!! I do not see the point of the breeding box though. I think the reason is that the eggs need to be in shallow water to develop well. I have found that filling the aquarium only to about half the height does the job well. Anyway - wish I had time to breed goldfish this year!!
