hey guys just a simple question. what would be a great buy that is not so expensive regarding skimmers? my tank is 110 liters.

    will the skimmer be placed in a sump or as a hang on ?

it will be a hang on if possible. i am trying to get away without a sump.

from my experience with the smallest of effective hangon skimmers, they still take a lot of space inside the tank such as space taken by a relatively massive pump.  I now use a Tunze nano skimmer inside a back compartment of my 60 l tank. In a 110 liter it will take much less space since it is very compact. Mind you this is an internal skimmer not a hangon.
