AquariumMalta.com is an online community whose sole purpose is to promote and improve the fish keeping hobby by working hand in hand with local fish stores, environment organizations and government institutions to safe guard the well being of the aquatic flora and fauna itself.

 

 

AquariumMalta.com was launched on December 12th 2005 initially its aim was to serve as an online forum where members were able to discuss the fish keeping hobby and share information. Since its early days the site was an extreme success with new members joining daily making aquariummalta.com one of the largest community in Malta.

 

Our members range from every level being amateures,  intermediate or many prosfessionals with many years of experience backing their valuable input. As one can see from the site statistics the site has managed to attract numerous members from all over the world particularly the US and UK. The fish keeping hobby is vast and it’s nothing like any other hobby, the site has all the information necessary for anyone who is willing to increase his knowledge and skills in the subject. 

 

We are committed to keep a strong and healthy relation with the local fish stores in Malta as we believe that they are the central point on which the hobby relies on. As such we always encouraged their contribution to the site and offered them the ability to advertise their shops and post threads when new stock arrived free of charge. We also helped to create seminars to promote a line of products without charging anything as we saw that it was in the best interest of our hobby to expand the range of product available on the island. Thought the year we organize competitions in collaboration with the LFS. This is received with great enthusiasm from our members which increased considerably the activity on the website.
